For over a quarter century, the Pierstorf College Fund has provided interest-free loans to hundreds of deserving Ohio students, helping them attain the life they’re called to live.
The Pierstorf College Fund is a one-of-a-kind, pan-Lutheran financial aid program that offers interest-free loans to all Lutherans living in the state of Ohio who are pursuing a higher education.
The Fund was initiated by Dr. Ervin Pierstorf and his beloved wife, Florence, in loving memory of his brother, Clarence. All three family members devoted themselves to helping young people receive a college education. As lifelong members of Messiah Lutheran Church in Fairview Park, Ohio, the Pierstorf Family chose to provide support funds for fellow Lutherans regardless of their synodical affiliation. The family saw this as a wonderful way of serving others in the name of Christ.
